First of all I’d like to introduce myself, I’m Pink Maple and I’m the person behind this blog. I am a peanut butter lover, avocado, chili chocolate, Gilmore girls fan, obsessed with Fall and of course colorful maple leaves!
I always think about flavors, what to cook, how to contrast them and how to surprise my husband and others with my experiments.
Besides cooking and feeding my buddies I work as an English and Spanish teacher. Currently I am learning German and refreshing my forgotten French.
I love a romantic comedy, films from the 90s, relaxing music (mostly instrumental), ballet and cats. I would kill to have a chubby kitten, but my husband doesn’t fancy them and my landlord doesn’t allow us.
My favorite moment of the day is the afternoon when I have some time and I can enjoy a mug of coffee with a treat. But there is something more exciting than anything and this is the sunset in Fall. Autumn is such a peaceful season to me, I feel it in a magical way, and it gives me strength and nostalgia.
My favorite dessert is pumpkin pie but if I had to choose a single flavor I could not…I love anything with pumpkin, apple, salted caramel, coffee, vanilla…
When I retire I would like to move to New England and live there for the rest of my life. Recently my husband and I have done a tour through New England and I knew it was beautiful but oh gosh! I seriously would love to live in a small town there… it is as amazing as in the films!! And those leaves…
